"Dj Mimi has proven herself to be hugely skilled at blending sounds of her heritage with quintessentially UK genres to critically acclaim. DJ Mimi's "island hour" Platform B show is a great example of the fluidity of sounds that the selector is inspired by. Delving deep and exploring what can happen when you merge raw UK and local island styles, she is carving out a truly unique space in the current DJ landscape" - Marko, Brighton based multi-genre producer and DJ
